Welcome to Deutsch-Drahthaar vom Merkel Germany's most frequently used hunting dog, the Deutsch-Drahthaar
is bred by hunters for responsibile hunting. This breed was developed over 120 years ago and has been continuously improved
upon since then. Deutsch-Drahthaars point and retrieve furred and feathered game on land and water. They also blood trail
wounded big game. Also, when the hunt is over, they are an absolute joy to have
in the house with the entire family.
